Flint Rock and Miamup

Flint Rock is the Great Southern regional range, named for the subtle mineral element in these cool climate wines. We stock the Flint Rock Shiraz, Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Noir.

Miamup is the Margaret River regional range, named after the road on the northern edge of the Leston vineyard. In the Nyoongar language the word means place of huts. Its Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc Semillon pay homage to the region's original Bordeaux style wines, and a Chardonnay joins them.

Leston and Scotsdale

Since 1999 the Distinguished Sites wines have set Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon from both regions side by side. Leston comes from the Leston vineyard in Wilyabrup, Margaret River, while Scotsdale recalls Howard Park's first home, a small winery on Scotsdale Road outside Denmark.

These are age worthy red wines: the Leston rich and maritime, the Scotsdale cooler and finer, each with a cellaring life of at least a decade.

Abercrombie and Allingham

Abercrombie Cabernet Sauvignon is the Howard Park flagship, named after Jeff Burch's great-grandfather, Walter Abercrombie. Allingham Chardonnay, first made in 2011, honours Jeff's maternal grandmother, Muriel Allingham, and shares its name with the Allingham vineyard at Karridale in southern Margaret River.

Riesling and Other Whites

Riesling has been part of Howard Park since the very first 1986 vintage, with an unbroken run of vintages ever since. Alongside the Great Southern Riesling we stock a Museum Release, which lets you taste the variety with age.

The range continues with the Margaret River Chardonnay and a Blackwood Valley Sauvignon Blanc, two more ways to explore Howard Park white wine.

Jeté Sparkling

Jeté is the Howard Park méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine, named after a signature ballet movement in honour of the dance careers of Jeff Burch's siblings, David and Lesley. Its base wines draw on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Mount Barrow vineyard in Mount Barker.

We stock the Jeté Premier Brut NV, the Jeté Rosé NV, the Grand Vintage Jeté and the Petit Jeté, a Blanc de Blancs and the lightest of the collection. The Grand Vintage Jeté spends at least 48 months on lees, building further complexity.
