What Is a Semi-Sweet White Wine?

A semi sweet white wine, sometimes called a medium sweet or medium white wine, is a white wine with a gentle level of sweetness, sitting comfortably between a fully dry white and a rich dessert wine. It has more residual sugar than an off dry white wine, but stays light and refreshing rather than syrupy or heavy.
