Mudgee Wines: Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay from the Hills of New South Wales

Rolling hills, historic cellar doors and a relaxed country town: Mudgee is one of the oldest names in NSW wine. Its name is often translated from the Wiradjuri language as "nest in the hills", and its wines are full of warm, generous flavour.

What Makes Mudgee Wine So Special?

Mudgee lies on the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range in New South Wales, a few hours' drive north west of Sydney. German settlers planted the first vines here in 1858.

The vineyards sit at altitude, where warm days and cool nights give ripe fruit with good freshness. Mudgee red wine leads our range, alongside Chardonnay, Mudgee Semillon and a few sparkling wines.
