The Josef Chromy Range

Josef Chromy Riesling

Riesling belongs to the premium varieties of the Josef Chromy vineyards, alongside Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The classic Josef Chromy Riesling brings the lifted citrus that often marks the winery's whites.

For something different, try the Delikat SGR Riesling. Delikat is Czech for delicate, and this lower alcohol Riesling keeps some of the grape's natural sweetness.

Josef Chromy Pinot Noir and PEPIK

For red wine lovers, Pinot Noir is the grape to know here, a variety the winery calls ideal in a cool climate. Josef Chromy Pinot Noir shows red sour cherry fruit with structured tannins.

The PEPIK Pinot Noir is the fruit driven, early drinking style, made with everyday enjoyment in mind, and a PEPIK Chardonnay sits beside it.

Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc

When Josef Chromy matures in oak, it uses French barriques, chosen above all for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Pinot Gris is rich, fleshy and textured in a true Alsatian style, and a Josef Chromy Sauvignon Blanc completes the whites for sauv blanc fans.

Tasmanian Sparkling and Rosé

Josef Chromy is known for Tasmanian sparkling wine made by the traditional method. The Cuvée blends Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the estate vineyard at Relbia, and the Sparkling Rosé is made almost entirely from Pinot Noir.

The Brut Rosé Finesse spends four years on its yeast lees before disgorging, and a still Josef Chromy rosé rounds out the pink side of the range.
