Far Ago Hill

Far Ago Hill is a boutique winery located in Canyonleigh, a region in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia.

The winery was established in 2003 by Katrina Hill and her ex-husband, who both transitioned from very different careers interior design and psychiatry—into viticulture. Their venture into winemaking was driven by a passion for the industry, despite the challenges they faced, such as dealing with local wildlife, extreme weather, and the labor-intensive nature of maintaining a vineyard​ 

Far Ago Hill specializes in producing high-quality cool-climate wines, with a particular focus on Pinot Gris.

The vineyard spans 2.5 hectares, and the wines produced there have gained recognition for their unique characteristics and quality.

Katrina Hill's dedication and somewhat unconventional approach have contributed to the winery's reputation and success within the Australian wine community
