100% Sangiovese from vines over 70 years of age, sand, stone, and high altitudes make for the ideal confluence of factors to produce this authentic expression of Tuscan terroir. Only the very best barrels of Sangiovese produced by Bibi Graetz year on year become the Colore. A profound and luscious red hue, red cherry and rose petal aromas meet earth, herbs and crushed rocks. A savoury palate meets with vibrant acidity to assure a wine that will do well in the cellar.

Sangiovese is an absolute knock out wine with anything Italian; pizza and pasta of all sorts, tomato-based sauces, and all of those rustic garden herbs work beautifully. Mushrooms also have a particular affinity with Sangiovese — a creamy mushroom risotto is a match made in heaven.
