Tasting Notes: Deep, dark crimson-red in colour. Rich aromas of dark plum, ripe blueberry and spicy dark berry fruits. Subtle floral notes of violets and hints of pomegranate molasses add complexity. The palate is generous and mouth-filling with fleshy boysenberry and dark plum flavours supported by French oak spice and fine, lightly drying tannins. Displays excellent balance between ripe fruit intensity and cool-climate elegance, finishing long and savoury.

Serving Temperature: 16–18°C.

Decanting: Recommended for 30–60 minutes before serving to allow the dark fruit and spice notes to open up.

Cellaring Potential: Drinking beautifully now, with the potential to cellar for a further 5–8 years (until approximately 2028–2033 if well stored).

Food Pairing: Pepper steak, slow-cooked lamb shoulder, grilled rib-eye steak, roast duck, beef short ribs, venison, chargrilled sausages and Asian-style glazed meat dishes.
