Tasting Notes: Tonic Wines Barossa Valley Shiraz is a modern, vibrant expression of Barossa Shiraz, sourced from the western ridge of the Barossa Valley. It shows aromas and flavours of blackberry, red berries, dark plum, liquorice, pepper, earthy savoury notes and subtle umami characters. The palate is fruit-driven with a firm tannin structure, bright acidity and a long, energetic finish.

Serving Temperature: Best served at 15–18°C. Serving slightly below room temperature helps retain freshness and balance the rich Barossa fruit profile.

Decanting: Recommended. Decant for 45–60 minutes to allow the wine to open and soften its firm tannin structure. The producer notes that air is beneficial and the wine will “unfurl” with time in a decanter.

Cellaring Potential: Enjoy now.
