Garnet red in colour and medium depth. Red current and cherry fruit with a vanilla cola aroma from the whole bunch and new oak portions. As with any No.89 from a cooler vintage there is a tough of pepper and spice that follows on the palate and contributes to the lush savory finish.

This No. 89 Shiraz is a perfect wine to pair with red meat, such as beef, lamb, and venison. The tannins in Shiraz can complement the rich flavours of red meat, and the wine's bold taste can stand up to the intense flavours of grilled or roasted meat.
