Cabernet Franc is one of the historical varieties of the Loire Valley (along with Gamay) and is traditionally used to structure other wine varieties (particularly in Bordeaux) and bring more freshness into it. Our Cabernet Franc is surprisingly deep in colour yet still bright and clear. The nose is sweet and savoury with red ripe berries underpinned, by some green pepper nuances so typical of Cabernet Franc. Very fresh palate with an elegant fruit profile and soft tannins that add elegance and structure.

Pair with barbecued lamb.
