The Juniper Estate Crossing Original is a Bordeaux-style blend from the Margaret River region, composed of Cabernet Sauvignon (62.6%), Merlot (18.5%), Cabernet Franc (7.8%), Malbec (7.4%), and Petit Verdot (3.7%). Bright crimson in colour. Bounds from the glass with cassis & blackberry, framed by cocoa powder & vanilla. The palate is expansive with plum & redcurrant fruit to the fore with hints of cedar & crushed spice, intense yet elegant. Lovely length & fine grainy texture, classically Margaret River. Best enjoyed by 2028.

Try this with braised beef cheeks with creamy mashed potatoes or couscous & cannellini bean burgers.
