Joven, meaning young, or youthful is the name given to this style of Tempranillo, and lively freshness is certainly the name of the game in this wine. The nose is seriously aromatic; strawberries, juicy pomegranate and black cherries mingle with an ephemeral hint of fresh tobacco and dried bay leaf. The palate is smooth and supple; soft tannins and zippy fresh acid are the ideal complement to the plush fruit weight. Enjoy this wine within 2-3 years of release.

The juicy red fruits and plush structure of this wine are suited to perfectly grilled BBQ meats; spring lamb and spicy chorizo sausage are ideal pairings.
