Complex and opulent, this wine covers the full spectrum of classic Chardonnay aromas including citrus blossom, honeysuckle, peach, yellow nectarine, brioche, vanilla pod, toasty oak, and butterscotch. The palate possesses layers of flavours and textures with bold, rich strokes of stone fruit, lemon curd, and pear drop effortlessly counterbalanced by lively citrus acidity and oak influence in the form of cardamom and nutmeal. Soft and supple, the wine moves across the palate revealing great length, generosity and persistence of flavour. A very promising start to what is sure to be a long and rewarding journey as this wine continues to develop and integrate with further time in the bottle. Drink now or cellar for up to 10 years.
