The Head Old Vine Grenache from Barossa Valley is a refined expression of old-vine Grenache, crafted by Alex Head to honour traditional Barossan winemaking methods.

Appearance: Medium red with purple tints at the rim.

Aroma: Sweetly fragrant bouquet featuring raspberry confections, boiled lollies, bonbons, and a patina of dried herbs.

Palate: Intense flavours backed by fine, emery-like tannins that dry the finish, offering good length.

Serving Temperature: Serve at 16°C to 18°C to highlight its aromatic complexity and fruit character.

Decanting: Decanting for 30 minutes is recommended to allow the wine to breathe and express its full bouquet.

This Grenache will pair well with Grilled lamb, roasted quails with raisins, venison with cranberries. Roast chicken, duck confit. Mushroom risotto, eggplant parmigiana. Aged cheddar, Manchego.
