Tasting Notes: The wine opens purple‑black and moonlit, offering warm plum, prune, and spice aromas with touches of laurel and firm herbs. The palate is smooth and almost creamy, carrying mellowed dark‑berry and plum fruit—fresh, dried, and mulberry‑stained. Quiet, low‑fi tannins build gently, while a firm acid spine keeps the fruit taut and energetic. Pepper and spice emerge late, giving the wine a poised, grown‑up feel that remains inviting to all drinkers.
Serving Temperature: Serve at 16–18°C.
Decanting: Decant 60 minutes to soften tannins and open the spice, herb, and dark‑fruit aromatics.
Cellaring Potential: Drink from 2025 and cellar until 2035.
Food Pairing: Barbecued meats, lamb cutlets, slow‑cooked beef. Dishes with licorice, dark chocolate, herbs, pepper, or gentle spice to echo the wine’s flavour profile. Dishes with Mediterranean herbs.
