Appearance: Deep garnet or ruby red with a slight purple hue. Aroma: An inviting bouquet of dark fruits like blackberries, black cherries, and plums, alongside hints of violets. Secondary notes include tobacco, cedar, chocolate, and a touch of graphite, along with subtle spices like clove and vanilla from the oak aging. Palate: Full-bodied and concentrated, with rich flavours of dark berries (blackcurrant, plum), complemented by liquorice, espresso, and earthy notes. The tannins are firm yet fine-grained, offering structure and balance. The wine finishes long with a fresh acidity that brings vibrancy to the richness of the fruit.

Ideal with hearty dishes such as grilled or roasted red meats, lamb, game, or rich stews. It also pairs well with hard cheeses like aged cheddar, Comté, or Parmigiano-Reggiano.
