Light in density with a cranberry core and a slight tawny hued rim. Bright and perfumed, sweet juicy raspberry and cherry, with smoky undertones. Subtle all-spice and pepper. Fresh, light, bright fruit. Bursting cherry and raspberry with bright clean acid, sweet sage and cedar spice. Gentle but present tannins and a nice smooth finish.

Pinot Noir is an excellent accompaniment to lightly spiced Thai dishes or even a mid-morning round of Chinese yum cha. Oily meals such as salmon, tuna or pasta will pair well with a light and dry Pinot Noir, while the more tannic styles go with richer foods like a beef bourguignon. And don't forget the cheese.
