Tasting Notes: This wine reflects the Bowen family’s strong belief of hand pruning to maximise flavour, particularly in the cooler years. The intense red fruit character is evident from start to finish. The palate is very succulent with elegant fruit flavours matched by hints of liquorish and bay leaves adding balance to the wine. American oak supports the natural tannins adding to this attractive wine which is ready to drink now and into the future.

Serving Temperature: 16–18°C, the ideal range for medium‑bodied cool‑climate Shiraz to balance fruit brightness and spice.

Decanting: 30–60 minutes enhances aromatics and softens the fine tannins.

Cellaring Potential: 5–8 years depending on preference for freshness vs. secondary development.

Food Pairing: Lamb: grilled cutlets, slow‑roasted shoulder. Beef: steak, BBQ, braised dishes. Sausages: peppered or herb‑driven styles. Tomato‑based pasta and hard cheeses (e.g., aged cheddar, Manchego).
