The Zidarich Terrano 2014 is a red wine made from the indigenous Terrano grape variety, which is native to the Carso region in Friuli Venezia Giulia, northeastern Italy. This wine is a great example of how local varieties can reflect the unique terroir of this limestone-rich region.

Aromas: On the nose, this wine is expressive with red fruit aromas, such as cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry. There are also earthy notes, like wet stone, herbs, and a hint of spice (pepper and clove), reflecting the wine’s mineral backbone.

Palate: The Terrano grape tends to have naturally high acidity, and this wine is no exception. It’s medium-bodied with a smooth texture, showcasing vibrant flavors of red berries and plums.
