Appearance: Deep ruby red with garnet reflections

Aroma: Intense and layered bouquet. Aromas of ripe red cherries, blackberries, and plums. Complex notes of violets, sweet spices, vanilla, toasted wood, and hints of dark chocolate, licorice, and tobacco.

Palate: Full-bodied and powerful with a dense structure. Flavours of dark berries, cocoa, and anise, wrapped in spicy accents like ginger and pepper. Grippy tannins and a solid backbone of acidity. Long, persistent finish marked by savory, earthy tones, and a slight bitterness

This wine will pair well with aged cheeses, game meats, ragu pasta, mushroom risotto pork and lamb. Decanting is recommended for this wine for 1.5 - 2 hours before serving between 14-16ºC.
