Colour: Deep mahogany with rich amber and olive-green hues at the rim, showing excellent maturity and concentration.

Aroma: Intense and complex aromas of raisins, figs, dates and dried apricots are layered with roasted walnuts, toasted almonds, toffee, caramel, dark chocolate, coffee bean and sweet baking spices. Subtle notes of orange peel and aged oak add further complexity.

Palate: Rich, luscious and beautifully balanced, with flavours of dried fruits, caramelised nuts, mocha, dark toffee and fruitcake spice. The palate is silky and concentrated, supported by fine spirit integration and a fresh acidity that prevents the sweetness from becoming cloying. The finish is exceptionally long, smooth and elegant.

Cellaring: Fully matured during its extended barrel ageing and ready to enjoy now. As a fortified wine, it will remain in excellent condition for many years if stored upright in a cool, dark place. Once opened, it can be enjoyed over several months when resealed and kept in a cool environment or refrigerated.
