Appearance: Brilliant ruby red colour tending to orange with age

Aroma: Inviting bouquet of ripe cherry, dried rose petals, and subtle hints of tar and earth.

Palate: Medium to full-bodied with well-integrated tannins and vibrant acidity. Flavours of red fruit, plum, and a touch of spice are complemented by notes of leather and tobacco.

Serving Temperature: 18-20ºC

Decanting: For Barolos aged between 3 to 5 years, a decanting period of 2 to 3 hours is advisable to allow the wine to open up and reveal its complexities.

This wine will pair well with mature cheeses, roasted red meats, game meats, mushroom based dishes and rich tomato based pasta sauces.
