A change in vineyard sourcing with the 2021 predominately coming from our estate vineyard in Marananga. Style wise the wine is typical of Pirathon Blue Label showcasing the regional Shiraz characters of blueberry and milk chocolate. A small amount of Mataro has been added to the wine to increase the complexity adding a long savoury finish. Maturation for 12 months in predominantly older hogsheads allows for the fruit to shine but adding layers of biscuit, vanilla and nutmeg spice. Made for immediate enjoyment but will reward medium term cellaring.

Aromatic red berry and blueberry fruits with notes of vanilla cream and malt.

Pair with a juicy steak, roasted lamb, BBQ ribs, hard cheeses and dark chocolate.
