Appearance: Opaque ruby red with burnished reflections.

Aroma: Intense bouquet featuring ripe dark fruit, dark cherry, dried fruit, leather, tobacco, and subtle hints of spice and sun-baked earth.

Palate: Full-bodied and enveloping, offering layers of charred dark fruit, dried cherry compote, sweet dried tobacco leaf, fine herbs, cocoa, and meaty flavours. The wine exhibits lush tannins and a long, elegant finish.

Serving Temperature: 18ºC

Decanting: Only decanting for 30 minutes for a wine of this age.

Amarone pairs well with rich, savoury foods like braised meats, aged cheeses, and hearty pasta dishes, particularly those with tomato or creamy sauces. Its intensity also makes it a good match for game, chocolate, and even some spicy dishes.
