The Le Vigne di Eli Etna Rosso DOC Moganazzi-Volte Sciara is a distinguished red wine from Sicily's Etna region, made mainly from the Nerello Mascalese grape variety, with a small addition of Nerello Cappuccio. This wine embodies the unique characteristic of Mount Etna, offering a complex and refined profile.

It has a pale ruby red colour with deep mahogany hues. On the nose, it presents with ripe red fruits such as raspberries and cherries, mingled with subtle floral notes, dried herbs, and a touch of minerality, characteristic of the volcanic soil

Medium to full-bodied with rich tannins and a balance of vibrant acidity. It offers flavours of wild berries, earthy notes, a hint of liquorice, and a long, mineral-driven finish. This wine pairs excellently with roasted red meats, such as lamb or beef, as well as pasta dishes featuring rich sauces. Its complexity also complements aged cheeses and charcuterie.

This is best served at 16-18°C to enhance its aromatic profile and balance.
