Deep ruby red, with hints of purple. Opens with vibrant aromas of blackberries, plums, and cherries, followed by subtle earthy notes, hints of tobacco, and a light touch of spice (cinnamon and black pepper).

On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied with velvety tannins and a smooth texture. The fruit is ripe and concentrated, showing dark fruits like blackcurrant and blueberry. There are underlying earthy tones, with a touch of chocolate and subtle oak influence. The finish is long and balanced, with good acidity to lift the fruit.

Pair with beef roast or grilled steak. Roasted duck breast. Mushroom dishes, hearty stews, soft creamy cheese and charcuterie.
