Season : A cool Spring leading up to a warm Summer period. Rainfall occurred in March resulting in slower ripening conditions. Prior to vintage there wasn’t a period of hot days, instead the cool mornings and warm days resulted in an excellent vintage for reds.

Wine Thoughts : Medium bodied Shiraz wine with multiple layers of complexity. Cool climate Shiraz aromas of red berries and pepper. Succulent ripe plum notes with spicy savoury edge on the palate.

Cellaring: A delicious wine to drink young for its primary fruit characters. The wine will gain complexity and smoothness with cellaring of 5 to 8 years.
