Medium-deep red-purple colour; aromas of dried herbs, dry grass and dried mushrooms overlying dark cherries; the wine is quite full in the mouth with abundant flavour and backed by firm tannins. It’s a touch grippy on its own but would work much better with appropriate food. There’s a lovely deep core of sweet ripe dark cherry fruit. A solid Burgundy with ageing potential.

This wine pairs well with beef, veal, game and poultry.
