Chateau Lascombes Margaux 2009 (Single Bottle) 750ml

The 2009, which is inky blue/purple to the rim, is a final blend of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot. The wine has a beautiful blueberry-scented nose with hints of acacia flowers, liquorice, graphite and some subtle charcoal and background oak. Clearly a modern style of Margaux, it is pure, seamless, full-bodied and opulent, and the high glycerine and silky texture of 2009 are brilliantly displayed in this wine. Drink it over the next 15+ years, although it is certainly capable of lasting well past two decades. Serving Temp 15 - 18 degrees.

This wine will pair well with beef, lamb, game and poultry.

Most of our customers give instructions to leave the wine in a safe place as this is by far the easiest way to ensure you get your wine on time. If the person accepting the delivery is out and there are no specific delivery instructions, Australia Post will leave a card indicating that they were unable to deliver your wine. Your case/cases will be returned to your nearest Post Office for your collection. A reminder card will be sent to you after five days. Cases not collected within 14 days of the initial attempted delivery will be returned to us and a YourWines Customer Service agent will contact you to arrange re-delivery and payment of re-delivery fees if required. Please note that we cannot accept instructions to contact you as Australia Post delivery couriers cannot call before delivery. YourWines™ will not deliver to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.

We normally despatch orders the same day if they are received before 4pm AEST on a business day. If orders are received after 4pm AEST they will be despatched the following business day. Once collected by our delivery partner, the estimated delivery times are:

METRO AREAS: NSW - 2-3 business days

VIC/ACT/WA/SA - 3-7 business days depedning on location. Please allow up to 3 additional days for country and rural areas.
