Our fifth annual Australian Whisky Advent Calendar is once again designed to take whisky lovers on a month-long roller coaster ride of handmade Australian drams. With more than two dozen whiskies simmering in its belly, the only thing that's left is to grab a tasting glass and a comfortable seat.

A total of 25 Australian whiskies are hiding behind the slots of this calendar, each of them handmade in small batches around Australia. This year we're treating drinkers to an in-depth dive into a range of released and unreleased drams from just a handful of distilleries. These include single malt whiskies, single cask whiskies, whiskies finished in exotic casks, whiskies made with other grains and more. Some of these beauties have won major international awards while others have never before been released to market.

If this isn't a surefire way to kick off the festive season, then we don't know what is. Behind each door is a bottle of premium Australian whisky, presented in one of our signature 30ml matte-black glass bottles.

The calendar also comes with access to a set of exclusive tasting notes. Jump on the website using the code provided to reveal interesting facts about the featured distillery and whisky you're about to taste.

The entire calendar weighs over 3kg, which is another reason, other than the obvious one, why it isn't suitable for children.

Artwork

This year we teamed up with Melbourne based digital artist Josh Dykgraaf who's been illustrating since 2012. The 'Warndurla' artwork was made entirely from material shot while revisiting sites of bushfires in Victoria in 2020 and 2021, exploring themes of decay and regrowth.

Gift advice

These Whisky Advent Calendars are shipped in plain brown cardboard shipping boxes to maximise the surprise factor. We never include invoices within orders.

OUR DELIVERY PARTNERS

YourWines™ carrier partner is Australia Post. All wine orders can be delivered to any nominated address in Australia. YourWines™ offers FREE Shipping on all orders nationwide excluding TAS, NT, remote QLD and remote WA where a $20 shipping surcharge is added.

Most of our customers give instructions to leave the wine in a safe place as this is by far the easiest way to ensure you get your wine on time. If the person accepting the delivery is out and there are no specific delivery instructions, Australia Post will leave a card indicating that they were unable to deliver your wine. Your case/cases will be returned to your nearest Post Office for your collection. A reminder card will be sent to you after five days. Cases not collected within 14 days of the initial attempted delivery will be returned to us and a YourWines Customer Service agent will contact you to arrange re-delivery and payment of re-delivery fees if required. Please note that we cannot accept instructions to contact you as Australia Post delivery couriers cannot call before delivery. YourWines™ will not deliver to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.

YourWines™ will not deliver to the following restricted areas: 4605, 4713, 4816, 4825, 4830, 4871, 4873, 4874, 4876 and 4895. Please note that locations can be added or modified from time to time. YourWines™ does not currently offer deliveries to international addresses.

OUR DELIVERY LEAD-TIMES

We normally despatch orders the same day if they are received before 4pm AEST on a business day. If orders are received after 4pm AEST they will be despatched the following business day. Once collected by our delivery partner, the estimated delivery times are:

METRO AREAS: NSW - 2-3 business days

VIC/ACT/WA/SA - 3-7 business days depedning on location. Please allow up to 3 additional days for country and rural areas.
