Keith and Alison Hentschke established the estate in 1997, after local winemakers and viticulturalists advised Keith to head north west and look for red brown soil over limestone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eKeith and his team divided the vineyard into nine blocks by soil, aspect and climate, planted mostly to Shiraz with Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and a little Viognier.
